The makers of Hemotest 2XC, Nutrabolics, advertise Hemotest 2XC as a supplement that promotes the increase of testosterone in the body, and coming at a fairly elevated price, one would think that it would get the job done in the most effective and powerful manner possible. However, there are some immediate concerns about the language that the makers use.
They consistently use the term ‘testosterone support,’ rather than the more commonly used phrase of ‘testosterone boosting.’ So is that significant or just pedantics?
There are essentially a couple of different kinds of testosterone supplements that you’ll find on the market: boosters and supports. Boosters generally contain a blend of all-natural ingredients that promote the increased production of testosterone in the body.
The body (for both men and women) decreases the production of testosterone every year beginning around the time you turn 20. Not only are these products not recommended for people under 18, but they won’t offer much benefit to a young, virile male.
However, boosting testosterone levels is not enough to increase muscle growth or strength. You also need to have a support system in your nutritional supplements that keep the elevated testosterone levels from being converted into estrogen or other muscle growth inhibiting hormones (such as dihydrotestosterone, or DHT).
It appears that Hemotest 2XC is more of a support supplement than one that can actually increase testosterone levels, but that is based on a wide range of reviews from other users of this product.
The Vital Ingredients in Hemotest 2XC
What’s interesting about this supplement, its marketing, and the overall impressions of men and women who have used it, is that the ingredients included in Hemotest 2XC are some of the vital ingredients of powerful testosterone boosters. Some nutrients are used in other products that produce much stronger results, such as:
- Fenugreek extract
- Mucuna Pruriens
The Price Factor
It’s surprising that Hemotest 2XC costs about $55 per bottle, which is a one-month supply. Few other testosterone boosters on the market can even compare to that price point. This puts itself in a category all on its own.
It is advertised as offering a ‘potent’ amount of the important ingredients. However, there is no research to support the notion that adding a higher concentration of specific nutrients will offer any real benefit to users of this supplement. Simply doubling the amount of a nutrient doesn’t mean that the body will be able to use it.
Most users of Hemotest 2XC have reported that is helps them develop denser muscles, but that they don’t feel any difference as far as muscle growth. It appears to support other testosterone boosters by helping to control the conversion of testosterone into other hormones.
Hemotest 2XC does boost sexual desire and performance, which can be an important benefit for a number of men as they age. Few men or women reported a major benefit to muscle growth and for the price, it is a disappointment.
