Quick Take: Zappa Nutrition PumpT is likely one of the cheaper testosterone boosters you can find online. However, just because it’s cheap, doesn’t necessarily mean it’s ineffective. This product has the capacity to boost testosterone, increase sex drive, and support muscle growth but it’s also far from perfect. Let’s find out more about this supplement in the review below.
- Zappa Nutrition is the brand that manufactures PumpT
- According to its marketing, Pump T is supposed to offer one of the best values for boosting your testosterone naturally. True enough, it is pretty cheap.
- Zinc, Magnesium, and probably Tribulus Terrestris might be this stack’s only effective ingredients
- The dosage and quality of the entire stack leaves a lot more to be desired
- The PumpT formula is not unique to Zappa Nutrition. More on this later.
- Available to buy online and in retail stores including Amazon and eBay. I can’t find it on GNC though.

Zappa Nutrition PumpT – Ingredients Review
Magnesium – Research shows that Magnesium has an “uncompetitive inhibition” on the bind between SHBG and testosterone. This leads to a weaker bond between the two and therefore more bioavailable T. Although the dosage here on Zappa Nutrition PumpT is decent, this oxide form is cheap.
Zinc – This mineral is an essential part of testosterone synthesis. According to research, it also helps prevent the dip in testosterone that typically happens after a workout. Again, this oxide form isn’t preferable but thankfully, its dose is solid.
Tribulus Terrestris – The effects of this herb seem conditional. In particular, it doesn’t seem to work on young and healthy men but for the older population who’re already deficient in testosterone, it manages to boost the hormone. Regardless of age, however, it’s great for increasing libido.
Horny Goat Weed – It doesn’t necessarily boost testosterone but it does mimic the effects of the hormone. Its most prominent effect? Higher libido and better erections.
Bees make a lot of good stuff. For instance, they make honey, royal jelly, and to my surprise, chrysin. Well, technically, bees make propolis and honeycomb which is where chrysin can be found. Additionally, chrysin is seen in blue passion flowers as well.
This compound supposedly does its magic through aromatase inhibition which should lead to lower levels of estrogen and, indirectly, an increase in testosterone. However, it only works when injected into your testicles. Unfortunately, it’s useless as an oral supplement.
Longjack – Otherwise known as Tongkat Ali, this herb is legendary for its benefits on sex drive. Furthermore, there’s also research that supports its use as a natural testosterone booster. The same research also shows a decrease in cortisol which, in theory, makes it great for bodybuilding.
Saw Palmetto – Commonly used to treat benign prostate hyperplasia, these berries are capable of inhibiting the 5-alpha-reductase enzyme. This primarily leads to lower levels of DHT and as a side benefit, an increase in testosterone.
Hawthorn Berries – These berries are used to promote the health of our hearts and blood vessels. It doesn’t seem to have any testosterone boosting benefits but if it’s good for cardiac health, there’s no reason why I would be against it. Plus, it could lead to better circulation and as a result, more rigid erections or better muscle pumps.
Cissus Quadrangularis – Athletes seem to be using this herb to promote bone and joint health. If you’re an active male who lifts or exercises regularly, this could be beneficial for you, too. However, research on its use is admittedly weak and scarce.
Zappa Nutrition PumpT Directions
Each serving of PumpT consists of 3 veggie capsules. As per instructions, simply take 1 serving (3 capsules) before bedtime.
When I first took a glimpse of the Zappa Nutrition PumpT formula, I immediately liked the fact that it’s non-proprietary. This means that this product is transparent in ALL of its dosages.
Unfortunately, however, this transparency makes it evident how some of its ingredients are in dire need of more milligrams. When it comes to ingredient quality, Zappa Nutrition PumpT doesn’t look too good either. Its minerals, Zinc and Magnesium, are dirt cheap and hard to absorb while the herbs look like they’re in plain, unspecialized forms.
This is bad news for the potency and effectiveness of Zappa Nutrition PumpT but to be fair, a handful of its ingredients do look like they have enough goods to work.
In particular, Zinc and Magnesium look like they have adequate dosages to support testosterone. Furthermore, both of these minerals are also pretty good supplements for bodybuilding.
More than these two, however, Zappa Nutrition PumpT looks like it places a lot of its money on Tribulus Terrestris. At 750 mg, this herb garners the heaviest dose of the entire formula. If you’re an older man with low levels of testosterone, this could be useful. Otherwise, it’s essentially just a libido booster.
With that, there’s basically nothing more to analyze. The way I see it, all the ingredients that come after Tribulus Terrestris are either ineffective (i.e., Chrysin) or under dosed.
Zappa Nutrition PumpT Benefits: Does it Work?
Overall, Zappa Nutrition PumpT has A LOT of room for improvement but yes, I think it can work to a mild degree. For testosterone, it has Zinc and Magnesium. If you’re a bit older, Tribulus can contribute, too. Furthermore, the two minerals also offer support for your muscles while Tribulus is great for libido.
It sounds pretty well rounded on paper but again, the scarce dosage and poor quality of this supplement are major limitations. Needless to say, Zappa Nutrition PumpT is far from being one of the best testosterone products this 2018.
Zappa Nutrition PumpT’s dirty little secret
This stack’s formula isn’t unique. On Amazon alone, you could randomly click on testosterone boosters and there’s a good chance you’ll see the exact same formula under a different brand and name. Here are just a few examples:
Zappa Nutrition PumpT Review Summary
- Non-proprietary – Unfortunately, a good number of testosterone supplements on the market aren’t as honest about its dosages
- All natural – It’s a natural T booster alright. Just not a very effective one.
- Boosted libido – This might be the most prominent benefit of Zappa Nutrition PumpT thanks to its heavy load of Tribulus Terrestris.
- Safe – Apart from maybe a few minor gastric side effects due to the poor forms of Zinc and Magnesium, none of the ingredients here warrant any caution.
- Poor dosage – Zinc, Magnesium, and Tribulus are exceptions but a good chunk of the ingredients are severely under dosed
- Poor absorption – You can blame the overall poor ingredient quality on this
- Chrysin – Unless you’re willing to plunge a syringe to your testicles on a daily basis, this simply won’t work.
- Weak – I think it’s safe to say it’s nowhere near the best
The Bottom Line
In my opinion, Zappa Nutrition PumpT isn’t going to return your testosterone to its prime and youthful state. However, it can still support T and other aspects of male health to a minor degree. If you’re a little short on cash, this and all the other supplements sharing the exact formula can be one of your choices. If I were you though, I’d just keep my money, save up a few more bucks, and buy something better.
