For those men who are looking for a way to boost their testosterone levels, Ageless Male is one of the latest options. New Vitality manufactures Ageless Male and has made the bold claim that it will increase testosterone levels in the body by more than 50%, and that it will still keep those levels within healthy levels.
There are many claims made by a number of testosterone boosters, but few can actually deliver on those promises. The difference with this testosterone booster, though, is that it isn’t marketed to the average male customer who is looking for a boost in their testosterone levels with the goal of being able to increase muscle mass and strength. It is marketed to men who are over the age of 40, for the most part.
Why the 40+ Crowd?
One of the main reasons that Ageless Male would be marketed more toward the 40 and over crowd is that as we age, our body produces less testosterone and this can lead to a lower sex drive, diminished energy levels, and make it harder for us to build muscle or keep what we worked so hard to attain.
The majority of the focus of men over 40 tends to be about energy and libido, and it’s an easy recipe to know that a boost in testosterone levels will mean a stronger sex drive and also more energy.
Research Backed Results?
New Vitality promotes this product by stating that there has been research to support the notion that Ageless Male produces 50% more testosterone and that it also reduces the conversion of testosterone into DHT (dihydrotestosterone) by “16%.”
The problem that I have with those claims is that even though New Vitality mentions the word ‘research’ more than a few times, the company does not actually refer to any specific studies. There could be a very good reason for this, but upon further research, I did find one paper that referred to Ageless Male, but the researchers did not actually test this product, but rather referred to it based on the other product that they actually tested.
Ageless Male’s manufacturers make a few bold claims and then stand behind those claims by talking about research, but there has been no real research done on this testosterone booster. That leaves a lot of questions hanging over this booster and that is an area that doesn’t breed much confidence.
